Blockchain pet insurance service to launch in Russia
REGA Risk Sharing, a local company, created a blockchain pet insurance service, reports Rusbase referring to the representative of the Microsoft that developed a platform the service is based on.
The Lexi Club project is meant for dogs and cats owners who want to insure their pets.
Monthly insurance fees will be 500 rubles on average. For the money, the pet owner will be able to receive 80% compensation of the amount paid for vet services. For verification, the Lexi Club bot will analyze the photo of the receipt comparing the information submitted by a pet clinic.
The chatbot interface and smart contracts system are based on Microsoft services created in cooperation with Ethereum.
